Basic Information
Palm Springs Golf & Country Club is the nearest golf course to Singapore. A quick 5-minute ride from Nongsapura Ferry Terminal leads to the clubhouse, which offers breathtaking views of Nongsa beach and the Singapore skyline behind it. The golf course was designed by Larry Nelson of Nelson & Hayworth and IMG, and features three distinct 9-hole layouts – Palm Course, Resort Course, and Island Course – each presenting a unique challenge. The club’s first nine holes opened in 1989 under the name Talvas Golf & Country Club.
The course features three excellent 9-hole layouts – Palm Courses, Resort Course and the Island Course and each of these layouts offer a very different challenge and whichever combination of nines you play to make up your round you will have a great day out.
- The Palm Course – The Palm Course features holes along the beach and through virgin rainforest with severe sloping greens, making it ideal for experienced golfers. 9 holes Par 36 / 3183 meters / Rating 36.0 / 138 slope
- The Island Course – The Island Course, with its small landing areas, mangrove vegetation, and waste bunkers, is suitable for intermediate players. 9 holes Par 36 / 3047 meters / Rating 36.4 / 134 slope
- The Resort Course – The easiest of the three courses is the Resort Course, which benefits from a varied topography and generous fairways, making it ideal for beginners. 9 holes Par 36 / 3012 meters / Rating 36.7 / 140 slope
