都心から最も近い栃木県のゴルフ場で、日本最大の渡良瀬遊水池に設計された雄大な18ホール。コース内には22の池が配置され戦略的にも高度な技術が要求される。渡良瀬遊水地の一角に造成された河川敷コースであり、全体的にゆったりとしたレイアウトでフェアウェイも広々としていて、乗用カートを中心にした、のびのびプレーを楽しめるアメリカンスタイルのゴルフ場である。
コース内には22の池があり大きな戦略要素となっている。アウトでは２番の池越えのショートに始まり、３番・５番・９番などフェアウェイサイドに池。インコースの方は14番・15番・17番がドッグレッグホールでその曲がりかどにそれぞれ池があって、ショートカットをきびしくチェック。またフェアウェイサイドやグリーン囲りにはマウンドが多く、ボールのライにはその都度注意が必要。

My recovery day. Unfortunately, it was raining today, but we are still lucky, the rain wasn’t so heavy, and we could complete a full 18 holes. Here is nested by Watarase reservoir and wetlands, so that the course layout is very flat. Perhaps, the longer distance, several water hazards, and some right dogleg layout holes contribute entertaining the players. I think the course index may be normal, and this course is appropriate for practice. The clubhouse and facilities are little old, for example, GPS on cart didn’t work perfectly, but it’s recognizable.
46 42 88, today’s driver shot was not stable, but I could manage my score by chip shot and putting.
