Basic Information
The 18-hole “Whispering Lakes” course at the Whispering Lakes Golf Course facility in Ontario, California features 18-hole / 6,706 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.4, and it has a slope rating of 122. This is a “throwback” layout, with generous, tree-lined fairways on just about every hole. The course is relatively flat making your round an easy walk if prefer.
Whispering Lakes golf course opened in 1956.The course never shut down while staff members worked from a temporary trailer overseeing $1 million in improvements – including a new clubhouse, golf carts, renovated landscape and new equipment. We have an active Senior Men’s Club, whose members enjoy mornings set aside for them.
PGA Pro Gary Nichols reports “The course is in good shape, with a nice definition between fairway and rough”, “The course layout is very traditional – wide-open layout with small greens by today’s course standards. The signature holes at Whispering Lakes are No.9 & 15.”

The day-light saving is end.
Mountain-viewed golf course, this course used to accept phone call reservation only, opens online booking recently, so I could find the tee time of this course at Golf now since last month.
To be honest, the course maintenance level is not good, it’s still playable, but all fairway and rough area are very bumpy and super hard coated. I think this is seasonal reason, the bad smell and many flies are there by the fertilizer. Course layout is wide and flat, it looks easy, only No.9 is challenging by the super dog-leg and trap of double lakes. The play fee is affordable, just $38 for weekend walking, it’s almost relax course and I think here is good for beginners.
47 47 94. Bullshit score.. Why I can’t keep my swing posture… I must make under 90 at such easy course.
