THIS IS NO FLAT-LAND COURSE, And it is one of the most challenging golf courses in Central California with its natural terrain hugging the foothills of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range. It requires a lot of attention with close to 25 crew members ensuring its continuing excellence. By far the golf course is the pride and joy of Rio Bravo Country Club.
Rio Bravo is a great 18 hole regulation course located at the Rio Bravo Country Club facility in Bakersfield, CA. From the longest tees it offers 7,000 yards of golf for a par of 72. The course was designed by Robert Muir Graves, ASGCA and opened in 1975. The course rating is 73.1 with a slope rating of 131. The course contact is Jim Kiger, Golf Professional.

2nd play today, we finished the morning golf earlier and played 9 half at twilight. This is really nice course, very maintained and nice view inside of the gated village, is totally different than the one where we played this morning. The play fee is reasonable, $45 for 9 half, $75 for Full play. I should book here…
Score is bad, 48 for half.
