Buena Vista means “Beautiful View”, which you will get plenty of as you play this golf course. Buena Vista is known for it’s large, fast greens and unique 1st hole, as the first hole is notorious for its elevated green and difficult approach shots. The course sits in an oasis of majestic eucalyptus trees, mature pines and Mexican palms, right off the I5 Freeway, minutes from Bakersfield. Most holes play either up or downhill so challenging lies are prevalent. The views of the nearby Buena Vista aquatic recreation area, lush valley farm land and the surrounding mountains make this truly a beautiful view. Not far from Taft, Buena Vista Golf Course offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level with Holes 18, Par 72, and Length 6710 yards. Well-groomed fairways and greens keep Buena Vista Golf Course difficult yet friendly.

Golf at Bakersfield, the course is surrounded by ranch at the super flat land. Slightly up and down, wide open course. I don’t feel O.B. pressure at this course however a ton of trees and the longer length at each holes make difficult than course layout. The course itself is very normal county public level, we see the minimum maintenance at fairway and rough area, the green is massively slippery.
Play fee is affordable, $40 for weekend walking.
49 50 99, no way, no hope. I didn’t come here to have such bullshit score today.
