Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon - Champions : Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon, a public golf course located in Beaumont, California was designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, who in 2012 were awarded architects of the year. The golf courses opened up in 2000, is now owned by Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. it's one half of a 36-hole world-class championship facility that was once the Home of the Southern California PGA. The golf club offers a variety of golf memberships, affordable public play and golf instruction.

Journey at Pechanga

The course, which was designed by Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest, opened in 2007. With great views of the Temecula Valley, the course was built on the ancestral land of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. And it's also the home of what's known as the "Great Oak," one of the largest indigenous coastal live oak trees in the United States. Golfers must navigate the elevation change and avoid these mature trees, which often frame holes and protect greens. The course tips out at 7,219 yards with a rating of 74.8, but there are four other sets of tees, starting out at 4,940 yards. The no. 1 handicap hole is the longest hole on the course, the 578-yard ninth.

Del Monte Golf Course

Del Monte is an exciting 18 hole regulation course located at the Del Monte Golf Course facility in Monterey, CA. Originally designed as a nine-hole course in 1897 by Charles E. Maud and expanded to 18 holes in 1902, Del Monte promptly attracted the game’s best players. The course’s Del Monte Championship was so highly regarded that many considered the champion to be the best golfer in the state. When the California State Amateur was founded in 1912, Del Monte was the natural choice to host it. Del Monte was also selected to host the 1916 Western Amateur, marking the first time one of the era’s biggest national amateur events was played west of Colorado.

Poppy Hills Golf Course

Poppy Hills Golf Course offers a spectacular layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1986. A renovation, lead by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 2013, improved the overall layout and reconstructed all of the green complexes. Pine tree lined fairways require accurate, The 1st & 18th holes are a magnificent par five with a carry over a large pond that boarders half the green. The back-nine zig-zags on a ridge in front of the clubhouse with many pine tree lined dog-legs. Poppy Hills is the headquarters of NCGA.

Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Courses - Bayonet course : Bayonet and Black Horse is the Best 36 holes on Monterey Bay. Designer Gene Bates redesigned Bayonet Golf Course and its adjacent sister layout, Black Horse Golf Course, at the high-end, 36-hole Bayonet and Black Horse facility. The championship courses and the facility itself have a fascinating history. They were originally designed in the 1950s on the Ford Ord military base that trained generations of American servicemen before being decommissioned in the 1990s.
