Pelican Hill Golf Club is the two eighteens that make up what may be the best 36-hole public-access facility in California. Located 50 miles south of Los Angeles in Newport Coast.
With 36 spectacular holes designed by Tom Fazio, a luxurious clubhouse, a signature restaurant featuring al fresco dining, an expertly-appointed practice facility, dramatic architecture and a stunning natural seaside setting, Pelican Hill Golf Club is one of the nation’s premier golf clubs. Reopened in November 2007 after a two-year “re-perfection” by the original course architect, it was the first component of The Resort at Pelican Hill to be completed.

- With panoramic ocean views beckoning from every hole, beauty can be a hazard in itself. But when you’re surrounded by this much majesty, the incredible views have a way of making up for even the most errant shot.
- Ocean South Holes
- 18 holes, Par 70 / Length 6580 yards
- Gaze across a landscape of sage and eucalyptus trees as they meet the deep blue sea under a cloudless sky. Next, you see the green and its bright yellow flagstick. Then, you see your playing partners, staring at you – yeah, it’s your shot.

Thanks giving holiday golf at Pelican hills.
Municipal ocean view, super luxury atmosphere and facility. Golf course is also very nice, everything is maintained well, in particular, the green condition is superb, so fast and slippery. Of course, play fee is also expensive, $205 for afternoon, I concerned we can finish 18 holes, actually we could all finally, but we couldn’t see the ball almost at No.18. If we play in the morning, approx. $400 is required. There are 2 courses here, Ocean North and Ocean South, we played Ocean North today. I must revisit again and complete South too in near future.
