Basic Information
Skylinks at Long Beach Golf Course is located just south of Los Angeles in Long Beach, California, is the premier course in the area. Voted “Readers’ Choice Best” by the Press-Telegram Long Beach, this 6,909-yard par 72 championship course is owned by The City of Long Beach and designed by leading golf course architect Cal Olson. It features Bermuda grass fairways, wide-open links-style play, and superb Bentgrass and Poa annua greens.
Skylinks Golf Course was built in 1959, at Spring Street and Clark Avenue, as a buffer between residential areas to the east and Long Beach Airport. The Golf Course is a regulation 18-hole course with a driving range and putting green. The course also includes a starters building with locker rooms, pro-shop and restaurant.
The golf course parking lot was expanded in 1994. Then, the golf course was completely rebuilt in the 2004-2006 years with funding from revenue anticipation bonds. Interim funding from the state Parks Bond Act of 2002 was repaid in 2008.

Played at Long beach today, here is wide and long, comfortable course. It’s good to take back my swing tempo and practice.
