Buenaventura Golf Course opened in March of 2005. With large bent grass greens, coupled with emerald green rye grass fairways, Buenaventura is one of the finest municipal courses in the Southland. With subtle undulations and contours, all the greens have been re-sculpted using classic Bell designs. Beautiful mature trees line Buenaventura’s pristine fairways, while white sand bunkers guard the greens. Buenaventura Golf Course is located in the beautiful beachside community of Ventura, California. Ventura is one hour north of Los Angeles and exhibits Southern California’s temperate weather year around. Playing at just over 6,000 yards to a par of 70, Buenaventura emphasizes course management and is a shot maker’s delight.

With large bent grass greens, coupled with emerald fairways, Buenaventura Golf Course is one of the finest municipal courses in the Southland. Beautiful view and Good lawn condition, flat course. I believe here is not so challenging. But green is very tough, very hard like a concrete condition and waved. And wind is too strong, hit ball was pushed right and left, followed and against.
