- The Canyon Course : The Canyon Course is characterized by its rugged landscaping and dramatic elevation changes which often means golfers will either have to club up or down and no shot is ever as straightforward as you first think., golfers will encounter dramatic elevation changes with incredible views.
- The Ranch Course : The Ranch is defined by its winding fairways which perfectly meander through the fields of a working ranch, offering golfers a truly unique experience of rural California. Nine features winding fairways through a working ranch. And the Ranch Course’s par-5 ninth, which has two lakes near the landing area off the tee.

Vineyards Course has beautiful woodlands, meandering streams, and working vineyards that stretch along the valley floor. Vineyards’ 582-yard par-5 seventh, which has a forced carry on the third shot.
March 16, 2024 – Vineyard course & Canyon course
Mountain view near El Cajon. Steele Canyon has total 27 holes, 9 x 3 courses, Ranch course, Vineyard course and Canyon course. I played Vineyard and Canyon course today. Lawn condition and fairway maintenance level are nice, very good condition. both courses are very narrow, luckily the red tee is assigned at almost O.B. area, however I felt pressure at any tee shot. And the green is also very maintained and super fast. Especially, Canyon course has massive up down slope, I think here is tough course entirely.
One complain about play fee, play fee is $150 for Non-San Diego resident, this fee is higher $50 than San Diego resident.
46 47 93, I’m not satisfied for my score, if the normal O.B. is assigned, the total score should be worse…
