Basic Information
Designed in 1947, by William P Bell and William H. Johnson, Rancho Park is a par 71 championship golf course playing at a deceptive 6,630 yards. It is an undulating and challenging track that requires a great deal of skill and finesse. It is a course for purists, and virtually all of the legends have played Rancho at one point in their career. Set in the heart of Los Angeles, Rancho has been the home to numerous LA Opens, the PGA Senior Open and multiple LPGA tour events.
Situated between Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, Rancho Park hosted the Los Angeles Open in the late 1950s and 1960s with Arnold Palmer, Charlie Sifford and Billy Casper all winning here. This Los Angeles muny also hosted the 1949 U.S. Amateur Public Links. With weekday rates under $40 and junior rates under $10, Rancho Park offers an accessible way to play a historic championship course.

Company golf competition, Rancho park is located opposite of FOX studio. Here’s very crowded course because of useful location, I couldn’t make the tee time booking last 2 years, it was very lucky company competition was held here today. Typical L.A. county public course, condition is normal, however course layout is nicely strategic, slope, trees etc.
No.18 is most difficult one, I had double bogey.. caused by Arnold Palmer’s trap ; ; 41 46 88

Company golf competition at Rancho Park. I didn’t register originally but the competition manager called me in the last minutes and joined tournament today. It was fun time actually, good strategic layout holes and delight play with my colleagues.
45 42 87 : My score was better than usual because we played from the white tee according to the competition regulation today. 2 birdie & 4 par.
