The Links at Summerly

PGA WEST – Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course

Challenge, beauty and drama permeate every Jack Nicklaus-designed course, and this masterful design is no exception. Around every corner you will find a new challenge, including the rare feature of two island greens. At 7,204 yards long, The Nicklaus Tournament Course has a stroke rating of 75.3 and a slope rating of 143. A true ball strikers' golf course, The Nicklaus Tournament along with The Stadium Course is the bi-annual host of the PGA TOUR’s final round of Q-School, which is attended by some of the best players in the world. Nicknamed by Members as the Nick Tourney, it is both very forgiving off the tee and extremely demanding around the greens. Without a doubt, a “must play” for not only a great test of golf, but for its magnificent desert setting.

PGA WEST – Greg Norman Course

Carved by time between some of the oldest and newest mountain ranges in North America lies PGA WEST, a geographically blessed golf destination. Symbolized by Coral Mountain which rises from the shell-laden desert floor bearing the distinct markings of an ancient ocean, the designs of nature and golf visionaries now rule this once submerged paradise. The newest course at PGA WEST and the only Greg Norman-designed golf course in the Coachella Valley is aptly described as being very "challenging but fair." Sporting only 68 acres of lush manicured turf, 102 white crushed marble bunkers and shark blue water coming into play on 9 holes, this 7,200-yard course offers a truly "Outback" experience that will entice you back time and time again. Resting in a prehistoric ocean bed 40-feet below sea level and surrounded by an immense crescent of terra cotta mountains, the course teems with purple, white and yellow wildflowers, while the mix of tall and short native grasses produce different shades of green running almost to silver. The grass covers just 60 acres of tight fairways that taper toward the greens with nine ponds blanketing 18 acres. The demands of this target-style course are a challenge for players of all levels.

General Old Golf Course

The 18-hole "General Old" course at the General Old Golf Course facility in Riverside, California features 6,702 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.5 and it has a slope rating of 125. General Old golf course opened in 1998. For over 25 years Kiki has taught players of all playing levels. Kiki starting teaching at Western Hills Country Club, a private golf course in Chino Hills. In 1996 he transferred to General Old Golf Course where he has been seen teaching for the last 17 years.

Shandin Hills Golf Course

The 18-hole Shandin Hills Golf Club in San Bernardino, CA is a public golf course that opened in 1985. Designed by Cary Bickler, Shandin Hills Golf Club measures 6556 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 127 and a 70.6 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. This course offers many beautifully scenic views. Water hazards come into play on five holes. The signature hole is #7, a par 3, in which you tee off from a hill that overlooks the whole valley.

The new gem of the East Inland Empire! A Pete Dye course that has been revamped from a challenging 27, to a more playable but still very exciting 18 hole course. Start on the subtle valley front nine winding between the houses and the lake. Then the spectacular finish on mountain nine, the course ascends into the hills above the houses giving many breathtaking views of the valley and the San Bernadino Mountain range in the distance. A truly historic course with a fresh new feel and look. The course originally opened in 1988 as Moreno Valley Golf Course, but shuttered around 2015 only to open up in 2020 without what used to be known as the Lake Nine.
