Talega Golf Club

Talega Golf Club, located in the hills of San Clemente set above the “Spanish Village by the Sea,” is truly one of the best golf experiences in Southern California. Established in 2001, Talega features an 18-hole, par 72 Fred Couples “Signature” championship golf course in Orange County ranked America’s Top Golf Course. The course is located in the hills above San Clemente, just three miles from the Pacific Ocean. The 6,951-yard par 72 is certainly a championship test with several difficult par 3s and par 5s. The signature Couples design has five of each, so there is great variety. The fifth hole is a 228-yard par 3 that plays mostly over water and is a candidate for one of Talega's signature holes. Another possibility for the prettiest hole is the finishing hole, the par-4 18th, with an approach that plays over the lake to a green well guarded by bunkers. Nestled into the Hidden Valley Wildlife Area and meandering along the Santa Ana River, this beautifully manicured course is a golfer’s golf course. The greens are fast with a great layout and conditions that offer a challenging par 71 course along a demanding 6,556 yards. Wow, comfortable course, some holes have OB at right or left side, but not so tough course. Less water hazard, there is large water hazard pool at No.18 only, just some of large bunker are arranged each holes. However, green is challenging, very slippery and waved slope.

Glen Ivy golf club is in spa resort village near Corona. Course difficulty is not so hard, some short holes are narrow and long, but par 4 holes are little short. It's intermediate level. One small disappointed point is green condition and lawn maintenance, green is slow and some of fairway lawn grass wither.

Hidden Valley Golf Club

Great Mountain and valley view course, I think the most up and down slope course in SoCal. We see the significant excellent scenery but we need to play on the narrow island fairway surrounded by rock, trees, bush and sand hazards at almost holes. And today it was very strong wind among the mountains. The club choice is key at this course. Minimum 2 persons are required for tee time booking, however the play fee of week day is reasonable, Just $52.

Eagle Glen Golf Club

Eagle Glen Golf Club, located in Corona City, California, is a known public course in the Southern California area. Opened in 1999 and designed by Gary Roger Baird, the par-72 layout consists of nearly 7,000 yards of play. The Inland Empire course is divided by two distinct styles, with the the front nine featuring elevation changes and forced carries and the back nine resembling links-style play where wind can become a huge factor. Great course! Excellent facility and very nice condition, fairway, rough, and green. However I think here is the toughest course in this year so far. Narrow fairway and up & down slope, some holes are layout tricky... plus hard slippery and waved green. Especially No.2, 12 & 15 are very tricky and No.4 & 18 are Par 5 holes and much difficult.
